What a wonderful selection, Laure! Thank you... Given your list, I'm going to recommend a few that I have loved. The latest jewel, Greenwood, by Michael Christie. Death of the Author, by Nnedi Okorafor. Elif Shafak's Rivers in the Sky (and others, but this latest was stellar...) Abraham Verghese's The Covenant of Water. I also wonder if you might 'enjoy' my book (encouraged to be published by Lise Weil) The Book of Snake. (Not what you might anticipate it to be...) These are just a few off the top of my head, but thank you for sharing some from your list. And a definite 'yes' to Ursula Le Guin!
Thank you for the recommendations Andrea! I have a couple of those back home, but haven't read any of them. Only you and Varghese have I heard of. Much to explore!
